I am flying into Cape G Wednesday late afternoon or early evening on my way back from R.O.T. to have some work done Thursday morning. (While have 43W repaired in TX, someone snapped off the passenger door cam. They sheet metal guy was very upset about it and told me immediately he would pay for it.) Will be at Cape G through lunch, looks like. Anyone by chance going to be there this week?

Hey Scott golden opportunity while you're having all, the very unfortunate and I feel for you there, damage repaired why not get the damaged paint color also fixed!

So Scott, where are you now?

Sid, isn't that kinda like the pot calling the kettle "faded black"? :p

Re: This week at Cape Girardeau?

Sorry I missed you, Alex. Turns out the repair in TX was not done exactly right and I am dealing with that issue now. Big mess.

Ian ... Pat Murphy gave me the bear to take to Australia, but no logbook! That is most important! He got it from you, and I think David Loose has it prior? I would need to get it QUICK.

Sid ... unitl you clean the bugs off your beast sufficiently that a person can ever determine the color, you should not even think about dissing someone else's paint job. Really, the Trip around tierra del Fuego you took was incredible, but leaving the bugs on for a keepsake now for 10 years in inexcuseable. You should have been quarantined when you re-entered the US.

I was wondering where the Captain COG was!! How soon are you going, and if you email an address I can FedEx it to you....

yeah ... he's not worth much without his logbook! I will leave some space for Ian, but be sure to enter where you took him.
send me an email to scott@truen.com and my signature will have the address. If you send today you could send it 3rd day air ... tomorrow 2nd day air. leaving Sunday so need Friday.

Re: This week at Cape Girardeau?

If he doesn't make AUS, then get him over to the Jekyll fly-in. Might be on his way to the UK and other parts EU.

Re: This week at Cape Girardeau?

David ... are you going to the Fly-In? If so, I will just ship bear back to you. to tell you the truth, that thing is damn big to be carrying to AU!

Re: This week at Cape Girardeau?

Oh no! I already had him, tired of him nagging me on my altitudes and suggesting I practice landings more often.... ;)

He needs to be with someone that hasn't had him yet!

Re: This week at Cape Girardeau?

David ... what I meant was ... you could give him and the logbook to one of the european guys coming.
