That was one of the fun things happening at the Osh ultralight field. They were doing a STOL competition and the Wilga was pretty cool. I don't remember them announcing the takeoff and landing distances for it, but I do remember that the Highlander in the prior class (same airplane that Sven had bought) took off in only 52 feet.

STOL record landing was 10 ft recently.
