Thinking about buying a 112TC

Hi,

I am new to the COG and have joined as I am seriously considering purchasing a 112TC based in the UK.

What I am really keen to try and do before I commit to the purchase is:

• Pick up any tips on Commander ownership generally from anyone who would be happy to chat with me
• Speak to anyone who might have any specific knowledge of the aircraft I am considering: G-ERIC including any previous owners.
• Find a maintainer in the UK with specific Commander knowledge and experience – ideally one based in the South who might do a pre-purchase inspection for me and could perhaps be my maintainer long term

This would be my first aircraft purchase, so I am feeling somewhat nervous about the whole thing, so any help would be much appreciated!

112TC may not be able to take 4x adults and full tank. But if you do manage to take off, you will easily get to the flight levels. I used to fly a 112TC from Northweald before purchasing a 114B (my first aircraft).
