Hi All,

Nice ride home in Super 20. Nailed her at 7500' to finish the engine break-in. MGY-BTV in a bit over 3 at 175 KTAS +/- when I let her run, and 165 +/- when I changed down the game to keep the engine guessing (an important part of break-in is to work the RPM range). Not bad for a new and tight engine. Flightaware picked me up at YNG after Center asked me "64C, are you a Twin Commander?" and they decided she was too fast to ignore. And look at the attached pics: she's dragging her tail the most I have ever seen! Check out the nose down trim in cruise! SuperStreaming this airplane might yield us the fastest Commander to ever fly! Let's see if Dave will let me do it. I'll keep you posted.

What a great fly-in! Nice to see you all, and thanks for not throwing me out the third time I started talking!

And special thanks to Sid for finding a way into the rental car trunk after I locked the keys in there this morning!

Re: Super 20

Jim Just Superb ! I was thinking about your New ride as we were back to 138kts vs the ironic 151kts coming West. Appreciated & Enjoyed ALL your Tech contributions, especially the discussion last night with You, Curtis & Sid. Will talk!

Re: Super 20

Dear Jim,

Glad you are back to your base safe. Thank you for the highly professional and informative clinic yesterday. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge you have on these aircraft that is second to none. Indeed we are privileged to have you on our team.

Best regards,

Pete

Re: Super 20

Jim,
Thanks for the great lecture on Saturday. Very informative. I learned a ton.

Thanks

Re: Super 20

Jim,
And a special thanks for entertaining and answering my ‘side-bar’ questions.
Going to breakout the borescope this weekend and hit the rudder area and pedal tubes. (You obviously gained our undivided attention . . )
If we could only figure out that nagging fuel vent drip:mad:

Re: Super 20

That pic is right where mine is, Jim. Great job on the presentations.
