Rusty Pilot

One way to mitigate any ‘rusty pilot’ concerns is to chose your flying or stops. What I mean is, go when the weather is favorable, free forecasts everywhere. If stopping for fuel, pick that airport within 20 degrees of the strong wind. That’s what I do, takes most stress out of it.

Looking for someone with a 112 that wants to fly with a septuagenarian for 4 or 5 hours, Need the time for insurance while my aircraft's annual is being completed.

Where are you located? I am in Saint Louis, MO KSUS... I have a 112 and I am always down for a flight (weather permitting) Does the person need to be a CFI?

I honestly had to google the word septuagenarian .... Learn something new every day.

Glad I wasn't the only person that had to utilize google for that

Marcos I am in Ohio at KCQA, about 60 miles north of DAY.
No CFI needed and I'm comfortable in the right seat.
Just need to get familiar with the aircraft so I don't embarrass myself or worse.

You're not far at all. Only a couple of hours according to foreflight. The hardest part of a cross country flight in the winter is move the airplane out of the hangar in the cold weather. I am tropical and those cold winds can be brutal. Let me check my schedule and the weather and I will coordinate with you. What's your work schedule like?

I am retired and have no problem meeting you at KSUS. Name the date and time.
Friday or Saturday this week look real good. Sunday is also a possibility. Tuesday on next week is also good.
Stupid cold weather is the pits
Marcos I sent you a Private Message on this site
