I flew to KGAI Gaithersburg, Montgomery County today, after spending the day at Gettysburg (just an astounding place,) working here tomorrow but done by 3:30 or so. Was visiting another client in the area Tuesday morning, but he had to reschedule last minute, so now that is open. Next planned stop is north and a bit east to Lancaster, Tuesday evening. That leaves me Tomorrow evening and Tuesday. What I would love is this perfect place between DC and Lancaster maybe, maybe 75 miles each way left or right, that has a runway with a hotel I can walk to and something decent to eat! I can just go there, relax and get some work done.

So ... the obvious place is ...???

Re: Runway + Food + Hotel?

- Hop over to Frederick, and visit the AOPA headquarters.

- Screw getting any work done, and go to ACY and visit the boardwalk. Or go to PNE, then rent a car and head into Philadelphia and check out some of the historical sites.

Good advice, Frank!~ Incredibly enough, that is almost exactly what my wife said.

Re: Runway + Food + Hotel?

Scott, KRDG is 10 minutes east from KLNS. Holiday Inn Express on Airport, as well as Malibooze Restaurant in the terminal. Park it at Milenimum FOB for the night. My Commander as well as Dave's will be there, however, I will be in St Paul Mn tomorrow and who knows where Dave is jet setting off too... It would have been nice to see you but keep me posted on next venture. Mid Atlantic air museum is also on field, they have some nice planes there.
