We had a good time at the Reno Air Races this year and the group decided to do it again next year. We will have front row box seats again.:)
September 11-15
This is just a heads up on the date. More will be posted latter.

Re: Reno 2019

Will be interested Pat. More free time now!

Bill
It would be great to have you at Reno.
What is "More free time now?"
Commanders over Reno

Re: Reno 2019

Semi-retirement. It’s a good life...

Re: Reno 2019

Reno air races has confirmed the date for the 2019 races September 11-15. They have not updated the web site but I received the box seat information yesterday. We had a great turn out last year with 2 boxes of 10 in the front row and AJ had a box with a Donald Spence and his son. Last year everyone had a great time and said they would be back for 2019. We can put 15 people in each box so even if everyone is there again we can accommodate more.

Re: Reno 2019

Reminder
We have 2 boxes (10 seats each) at the Reno Races. Most of the people that were with us in 2018 are going again. We still have a few opening. If anyone is interested please email me.
It will be another good year.

Re: Reno 2019

Hi Pat Do the dates conflict with the COG Fly-in?

Re: Reno 2019

Brett
You are correct. The Commander Fly In is the same time as the Reno Air Races. I think it is unfortunate the fly in was scheduled the same time as Reno.
We have a group of about 20 that go to the races in our boxes and we have other friends that we meet. And I have been on the crew of a race plane. Last year the plane had a gear problem at last minute that did not get fixed in time for the race. Betty and I organize the trip.
I waited until the last minute to invite others on the web so as not to interfere with the fly in.
The Reno Air Races is one of the few aviation events the women enjoy as much as the men. I think in part is because there are so many aspects to the Reno event.
If you are not going to the fly in, Join Us.
