I didn’t plan this out, but even a blind squirrel gets lucky sometimes.
I took my flight instructor out for a 100 mile jaunt to
Granite Falls,MN this morning. Upon arrival, we noticed 25 or more airplanes on the small ramp and many, many vehicles in the parking lot.
And as luck would have it, a beautiful Corsair out on the ramp! This is the location of the Fagen Fighters museum. Mostly WWII airplanes, all of which are fully operational and beautifully restored. They have several ground bound vehicles that are functional also, including a tank or two!
They opened a new “Navy” hangar today in honor of
Pearl Harbor Day. Inside were a Wildcat, a Hellcat and one of two flying Helldivers in the world. We were treated to a flying demonstration of the Corsair after our tour.
I would upload the videos but apparently they are too large for my wimpy IPhone 8+ to handle, don’t you just love technology?
Check out their website at FagenFighters.com for a list of all their aircraft.
