Greg,

Welcome to the group! Looking forward to pictures once your deal is locked down. Hopefully you will be able to fly it home with a CFI, that would be a fun trip.

Welcome to the group! Enjoy your new ride!

Welcome. Whatever you need (well, related to Commanders) you'll find it here. The collective knowledge of this group is remarkable.

Welcome. I was in your shoes about a year ago. I love the commanders but wasn't sure if that was a good fit for me. I was afraid I would get stuck with an airplane with no parts. Don't get my wrong, parts can be hard to find, but they are all out there and I have learned so much from everyone here.

Good luck on your search.

hi.

the only advice i would give to a new Commander buyer.
Take a quick ride in a couple of models within or close to your budget.

While on paper, performance is similar but there are performance differences between a 112 , a 112HS (Turbo-normalized) and a 112TC (turbo-charged) and no they are not the same thing.

That way you know what you're getting into as opposed to getting lucky.
Maintenance and parts are not a big problem unless you bend something.
