Hello, just joined the group. Considering buying a 114B or a 115, need to know I can go 750 NM plus reserve, even if it means flying at 55%. Plan to use it for business and pleasure, plus finally getting my IFR. The T28 is a lot of fun, but cruise is 50 GPH and you're restricted to where you can go and what you can do. It would be helpful to know if any 114 or 114B owners have achieved that range in no wind conditions. I know it isn't a problem with the 115, just not sure with the 20 gallons lower capacity of the 114.

Welcome Jeff. Keep in mind that the 114TC/115's had the 90-gallon fuel option (which most out there will have). So if you have the ability to work with the useful load, 750NM shouldn't be an issue. See the published ranges in our FAQ here

You could also get that range but at a more leisurely pace in a 112 with the 68-gallon setup.
