Hello folks there is a fly-in at Pisgha, MS this Saturday and I was going to invite anyone who wants to come. The identifier is MS08 and it is just a little north east of Jackson, MS. Greg Walker and his wife are coming over Friday and will be going also. We are planning on leaving from Prentiss (M43) around 9:30 am I think Bob Wilburn is going to try to come and I was going to let those Southeast folks know like Jay, Ian, Loren, Gib and anyone that might want to come. Its a nice field 2600' grass very smooth and an endless approach of a field that goes like forever. There will be a ton of food and a great time and would love to have a flight of commanders fly-in would look really cool. the link is below. let me know if yall are interested.

Sounds like a lot of fun and I'd make the trip, except Saturday I'm sacked juding a robotics competition at my son's High School... the nerd students come before the cool flying... :(

Re: MS Fly-in

David that a whole lot cooler but damn I wish yall could have made it. Steve P and Bob Tip what do yall have going.

Re: MS Fly-in

I'd like nothing more than to come meet you guys. I'll be in the hangar suffering for one or two more days re-sealing my fuel bays. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. But when it's done I should never have to do it again.

Re: MS Fly-in

Thanks for the invite, Lonnie. I've got friends from Nebraska visiting me this weekend and I don't think I can squeeze 3 into the micro-Commander...maybe I could get a fly-behind trailer...yeah, that's the ticket. Oh Mr. Rutan I have a project for you.

See ya'll next time.

Re: MS Fly-in

Lonnie, I would love to come, but my Commander is in Annual right now! I have no prop at the moment, but will be installing on Friday...I just started the annual, so will be down for a few days! I'd love to see more southern fly-ins...

Re: MS Fly-in

Just a couple weeks too early for us -- we're headed to Hattiesburg for Thanksgiving this year (instead of Xmas). Hope all y'all have a great time.

Thanks for the responses.

Actually sounds fun David - Have a good time

Re: MS Fly-in

Oh, it will be fun! Elementary and middle school kids running around with Lego robots all day. And my son will be the 'big shot,' getting to referee all the matches!

Just one of those things, wish you could do both, but ya can't! BTW, Captain COG confided to me last night, while we were out getting night current, that he's getting a little antsy of hanging around Austin and would welcome some Cajun cookin'...

Re: MS Fly-in

I figured I would help yall any way I could.

Re: MS Fly-in

Lonnie that is so kind ... but you can't pay for our cars with okra & grits!

Re: MS Fly-in
