Kevin I would love to fly formation up there!!! that would be so cool. I will take a few days off from work, leave like a on Wednesday or Thursday and plan to come back like Sunday or Monday, you know? work out all the wrinkles and get familiar with the routine of this type of trip.

Now the primary focus of the trip is to party and have lots of fun :cool: ;) So I am looking for nice beaches during the day and maybe a nice bar/club for a nighttime fun... sleep in... repeat!

Of course, I want to be a better pilot and sharpen my skills as an aviator (I almost forgot to mention that part) :D :D :D :D

Sounds like we are looking for the same type of trip.
 
You really have two choices in the Bahamas - One is to go to the Big island's like Nassau and Paradise Island and the other is to go to the real Bahamas. If you're interest is to party at night then the out islands will be the wrong place for you. There is very little tourism ,not a lot of bars and activities really evolve around the outdoors, fishing and the beach.
The best beaches are on the out islands - you won't find a lot of people on them. We have gone many full days, without seeing another person on the beach on cat Island. On the out islands there's little to no crime - you don't lock your doors at night, people are really friendly and appreciative because they see so little tourism but you can forget about partying unless you bring the party with you.

Yep - Hasn't changed much since then but it has been re-paved. Road to the airport is worse than ever.
