Jesus! pretty much says it all. I have been to a boat load of mountain flying clinics in my day living in the rocks. I don't get within several thousand feet of a high mountain windier the farther. Never get on the down wind side when its blowing hard or thee might unexpectedly slap you to the ground. That video gave me the creeps yikes.

Nice video and looks like a Piper Cub a real fun plane to fly, just imagine how many things could have gone wrong on his landing or takeoff on the mountain ridge!!! Even worse after a nice landing and taking a break on the mountain you get back in the plane and the engine won't start or the battery is dead yikes !!! About a zillion things could go wrong with this, but nice to see it went so well and great video.

Paul.

We just have to look on the bright side, even his insurance company were OK with it..

Life is a barrel of fun.
