Intro & Request for Info/Help

Hello the COG forum!

I recently joined COG and I'm exploring the purchase of a '76 114 with the Camarillo Air Turbo Normalized STC. Looking for some initial info as follows:

1.) Anyone have experience with the early generation TN by Camarillo Air (installed 2002)? Does this mod have an intercooler? Maintenance/failure issues?
2.) Needing an A/P in the Atlanta area with Commander experience for a prebuy. Any recommendations?
3.) Needing an A/P in the Northern California (greater Sacramento) area for future maintenance and annuals. Any recommendations?

I'll initiate a follow-on thread in the members area for more detailed questions once I get further along.

Might want to reach out to member Carl Lee, his company (RCM Normalizing) had the STC for the hot shot turbo system, which I think was the child of the Camarillo turbo that you’re referencing. He would be a good source to get info on the system about.
