In case you misssed the Michigan Fly-in (VIDEO)

Re: In case you misssed the Michigan Fly-in (VIDEO)

Awesome video and obviously great flying weather! Which camera did you use and how did you mount it?

I guess I will like to see a picture of how you mounted the camera.

Scott,

Great video. I got a GoPro for my birthday in late December. Haven't tried flying with it. Did you use the suction mount?

hey all - Conor here with Commander Tech Support.

Gopro Hero2 camera was mounted with a Gopro 3M sticky mount - good to 250mph. The mount just stays on the top of the runner and you click the camera in to it when in use. Very low profile, can't really notice it. I suppose you could even paint it to match. I've also used the suction cup mount on the belly of the plane and it stayed on with no problems.

neither method would work on Sid's bird ... too many bugs!
