Hi Commanders,
for a 112 (SN: 402) we are looking for a bracket where the NLG Sensor is mounted.

The P/N starts with 48037 (see attached pics)

Anybody knows where to buy that part?

Re: Hard-to-find parts

If you didn't want to simply fabricate a replacement, most salvage yards should be able to pull that part off for you and sell inexpensively. James Cole in Florida has (3) 112's he's parting out. 941-724-1041

You could also try Try www.baspartsales.com - they have several Commanders they are parting out.

Re: Hard-to-find parts

Hello Commanders,
our client is getting a new 3-blade prop for his Commander 114B s/n 14557 from 1992.

Now he is looking for an electric prop deice system or a kit for his plane. 28V

Does anybody have any idea where we can buy a kit or the best place to locate a broken Commander to get the used parts we need to upgrade the plane to HOTPROP?

Any idea will be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

John,
As far as I know, you can only weld 6000 series aluminum. A lot of the these brackets are 4000 series...

You are probably correct. Looks like a simple part to make one from scratch and install as owner manufactured part.

Re: Hard-to-find parts - Prop Deice?

Re: Hard-to-find parts - Prop Deice?

Hi John and Clark,

thank you for your reply. The bracket problem we solved already - we found a part on the salvage market.

Now the prop deice question is still not solved. We are looking for an electric deice kit (backplate with the rings, aso) but Jim Richards already told us that there is only the STC TKS System available for the Commanders.

We would be glad to know if there is any Commander out there at all running a HOTPROP with electric deice system.

Thanxs
Thorsten

There's a parts cross reference in the Hangar section of the main site.

We also have info on Kulite (the OEM) rebuilding the transducers and also proper test procedures. Also in the Hangar section of the main site.
