I thought this might be of some interest. If you go to Google Earth (not Google Maps) and look at the airport at Fredericksburg, Texas, you see an information icon over the Hangar Hotel. When you click the icon to see more information on the Hotel, you see the a great picture of Commander N112DG! Cool huh?

Re: Google Earth Commander

I would have to say that is "very cool". Might be a little biased though. I put 3 of them up I think. They are from when I was there for our fly-in. One of the terminal building and one of the diner should also have balloon tags.

OK, OK! Guess I can't hide out forever, so here goes the autobiography. Some of you may remember meeting me at T82 for the fly-in. Here's the update. I actually married the Airport Diner's manager a year later in Eureka Springs. Went to Afghanistan to help out a little for 6 months. Came back last June. Had bypass surgery the 18th of February. Out of work for 5 weeks. Lost 38 lbs, joined the YMCA. Still waiting the period before I can get the medical back (Lots of fun!). Just bought a house with my new bride (Tracie) and life is looking a lot better now! YES Mark, your wingman still lives. Currently out in Roswell NM (KROW) for a couple more days doing brake testing on a Global Express. I apologize to the group and will try to stay in touch and check in on a more respectable time frame. I would like to stop in and say hey to Dave at T74 since my bride is from Rockdale, but 4591W is in annual and I am WAITING!!!! Take care all. P.S. You can't scare me away for long.......PSS, I'll be here (KROW) till Tuesday if anyone wants to stop by and say hey.

Re: Google Earth Commander

Marvelous story Craig!
Congratulations to you and the new bride. Hey the Global express brakes you're checking in Rosewell - terretrial or Alien Global Express??
Sorry about teh ByPass!

Please come to the Sept Flyin - see special thread on that

Re: Google Earth Commander

No *bleep**bleep**bleep**bleep*! Awesome story. Imagine that, a wedding born out of the COG Fly In. Speedy recovery my wing man!
