I may be in Houston over that week-end on business. Any Commander owner flying up to Fredericksburg from Houston with a spare seat willing to give a Scot a ride up and back (need to be back in Houston Sunday evening latest).
My pic. with Bob Hoover just reminded me,Bob Hoover was just recendly honored with a degree of Doctor Experimental Flight Test at the USAF Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB,that took a long time coming. What a GREAT Guy!!
Judi, after last nights episode I may not make it. I am trying to get some parts so my local guy can look at my gear problem. If we stay on the date (12th) and the plane is not in the shop yet, I will fly down with gear extended. The drag is like boating and dragging the anchor behind!
Just getting out of the hospital on the 4th.
Probably will not make it since Taz is coming out of overhaul and
I will be getting ready for Bypass Surgery on April 4th...........so my
availability will be somewhat limited until late May.
You-all have a great time for me.
Have a happy.
hope you're doing better, Bob. and, Jack Plonien has suggested we hv another TX fly-in late April or May in Lancaster, TX. so, we'll hv TWO TX events back to back.
Bob, best wishes for your surgery, I´m confident that with this "AD complied" you won´t need any "recurrent servicing" and remain fully airworthy for a long time.
Well........the good thing is that is was shortness of breath that brough me in which was related to blood clots in lungs (PEs) and not the heart. The narrowed heart arteries were found during the diagnositc work up related to the clots. So we will get the 3 arteries fixed and then proceed on to recovery. You guys have a fun time.
