Hi all,

The family and I are off to a wedding at Semiahoo Resort (Blaine, WA) next weekend. Sadly, the Blaine airport is no more, so it looks like the best bet is Bellingham. It has been a few years since I have been up there and I was wondering what opinions were re: Command Aviation vs. BAS?

Blue Skies,
Neal

Re: Bellingham (KBLI)

Neal I have never stayed overnight when I do claims up there as I am only on the ground about 3 hours or so but I have used Command Aviation and they were very helpful. BAS probably just as helpful.
If needed, I am sure either one will arrange rental cars.

I would suggest KSPB Scappoose, OR for a fuel stop as fuel is 4.68 and they fill the tanks. I looked up the price at BLI and self serve is 5.99 at both places. KSPB is along your route of flight also. It is an easy round trip for return fuel to boot.

Re: Bellingham (KBLI)

Ive never stayed in BLI either, but Lynden (38W) is also an option just to the east. Not sure of driving time difference since BLI is right on I-5, but they might not be as much to tie down and I believe fuel is a little cheaper there than BLI.
