After roughly 15 trips to the Bahamas, A number of you have asked me if I intend to go back to the Bahamas. Unfortunately, recently I had to explain that the fees that they have put in place are egregious and that many are paying $500 plus in fees. I wanted to go back next year but based on the current fee schedule I won't go. For the longest time they wouldn't provide any numbers to me, but I found the following this morning.
It's so bad that AOPA has published an advisory warning pilots not to go to the Bahamas.
