Anyone planning on attending this. I will be down in San Marcos for a 3 day weekend if anyone would like to join me. I'll have 91W there with the new interior and panel, if anyone wants to take a look see. Don't forget to register for a free to member and and immediate family guest lunch and the pancake breakfast is $5.00 for all (including members). Hope to see you there!

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

I am planning to go.

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

It's on my calendar, but that's more than a month away!

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

I am hoping to attend, but our local EAA chapter scheduled a Young Eagles flight for the local high school aviation program participants, so I will have to see if we are getting enough pilots participating... Seems the AOPA waited a long time to publish their schedule and then had the TX event early in the season, even though we just hosted the Summit here in TX... Caught everyone off-guard. We'll see how it works out.

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

If all goes well I will be in town and I will be there. Hoping to find the new commander owner at DHW and will convince him to join us there.

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

We'll be there. We're staying 20 minutes NW at Horseshoe Bay, KDZB.
FYI - If your "second in command" would rather shop than see planes and sit through aviation siminars, a large outlet mall is about 5 miles south. Of course that means the "free lunch" isn't free anymore.

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

Hey, That sound good in the ears of the second in command.

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

Ya, you have a valid point there David. Is Horseshoe Bay a private airport?

That would be 'her' :)

BTW, we still have no news about the new Commander factory other than the fact that Ms. Mao is still looking at locations to set up operations.

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

Alex means new Commander 114 Hot Shot owner @ DWH, Vernon Parks.
I'll ping him and let him know to get on board!

Horseshoe Bay is a private airport. It's owned and operated by the Horseshoe Bay Resort. If you like to play golf, the resort has 3 great courses. It's pretty friendly to resort members and people staying on the resort property. If you visit, make sure you call ahead.

Re: AOPA Fly-In April 26th

I'll be there from Fri noon till about 8:00 am Sunday. Holler if you come in.
