Ok everyone, My annual spring cookout will be coming up in about 46 days 4/2/16 at KSNH. Each year it has gotten bigger and bigger and a good reason to go fly somewhere. I provide all the food and drinks and the only fee is that you have a good time. If you have a special item you have cooked up, bring it on. I will have an A/P and Avionics shop guys here as well you you can bend there ear a bit on things that are on your mind. More information will follow as it gets closer. PM me if you like if you have any questions.

I will also see if I can get some discount fuel as well.

Mike

Thought you might get a kick out of knowing I can't read a date correctly,so I came up for your flyin today exactly a month early. Great folks at the FBO. Hope the weather is as good 30 days from now!

I am so glad you are excited to come. :) Should have asked them to call me, I would at least come up and say hello and taken you to lunch. They are a good bunch of people up there. I hope you will try again on 2nd of April.

Mike,

As they say, 'Lord willing and the creek don't rise'. I'd like to attend. I'd bet Todd from Gadsden would be interested in flying in as well.

Michael,

If I get out of my annual without losing my mind or too much money - I am contemplating trying to swing your direction for your BBQ. 42W is in pieces now so it shouldn't be too long before I have an idea.

Thanks for posting the info

Dean

I've Definitely got it on my Calendar :) I hope to be able to attend...this will be my first Commander fly-in:)

Re: Annual Cookout in Savannah TN. KSNH

Great guys.... Love to see you all out there. I will cook you guys some good burgers/dogs, drinks, salads, etc. The avionics guy on site is letting me use his hanger so we have plenty of ramp and hanger space. We will have local guys as well flying in with their planes. If you can let me know if you are coming, I'll make sure there is plenty of food. All you guys have to do is come in with stories, good ideas, and hungry.
:)

Michael,

While I don't have access to Milwaukee's "finest" (i have to use quotes for that) - I might be able to smuggle a bottle of Colorado wine in my checked bag :-) I just need to know red or white?

Dean,
I am not much of a wine drinker myself, but my wife likes a semi sweet kind. What ever kind that is..... I'll tell you what I will do, if you are coming from Colorado, I will have a single barrel bottle of Jack I bought right from the distillery here in TN, or a jar of the local moonshine. (The legal stuff) [emoji2]

Michael,

Jack is a good friend of mine! If my annual isn't nasty and we have VFR weather I am planning on being there. Right now I am about 3 days into my annual - and know there is going to be some pain - I just don't know how much.

I am trying to fit it into the travel plans to Sun-N-Fun. Just not sure about the timing yet. Also going to try and barnstorm into Kens place if i can find it! Anybody else located along on this zig-zag across the east coast, always looking for a reason to take a Lav brake!
Its going to be quite the adventure. YIP- BTV - Fly the Hudson - BBQ - Kens - LAL. and some fuel stops along the way!!

Re: Annual Cookout in Savannah TN. KSNH

Mike,

How long will you be at Sun&Fun? We normally take off Friday and get in before the show NOTAM on Friday and depart late Sat after they lift the No-Fly. Last few times we've camped very close to the VOR.

Hope to see you at Michaels . . .

Re: Annual Cookout in Savannah TN. KSNH

Planning on getting there the 5th, and leaving the 9th. Going to fly in but stay with relatives in Lakeland.

Ok guys, just 8 days until the cookout. Twila and I are beginning to buy the food. Hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, potato salad, Cole slaw, chips and drinks. If you want to bring something, go ahead, but not required. If you have some new recipe to try on people you don't know, now is the best time.... [emoji4] plan on starting to cook about 11am and go until the crowd or food is gone. If you have any questions, just let me know. Hope to see a lot of commanders there. (Like to pick everyone's brain [emoji2]). Let me know if your coming, I'll make sure there's food.

You don't really need to bring anything but an appetite, but if you want to.... Surprise us. I will enjoy meeting other commander owners.

Re: Annual Cookout in Savannah TN. KSNH

I'm excited as this will be my first Commander fly-in since taking ownership of N295TC....looking forward to meeting everyone. I pray the weather cooperates and the turn out is great for you Michael.

Re: Annual Cookout in Savannah TN. KSNH

It will be great to see you, although it's is more of a spring flyin. All are welcome, but would like to see a bunch of Commanders..
