    New guy

Kevin, I second to that. Judi is the way to go. The 114 or the TC are great planes and have more useful load... the 112(A) series is pretty much a two person + 60 lbs luggage + full fuel airplane. The 112B has a little more gross weight if you don't want the 6 jugs. My 112 fits my mission well...

Joe welcome to the group. I am sure you have your hands full with this project, but I am sure you get that airplane back in the air in no time. I would probably transport to a place where you can work on it rather than "doing it from a distance", you know? Do a search on ebay for some of the...

    Commander Aircraft Company

I forgot to mention, Dan said that documents and manuals related to our airlines are in store and almost impossible to get, so this site is definitely the way to go for that.

    Commander Aircraft Company

I spoke with Dan recently inquiring about some parts and the word is there is very limited support and parts available. You may still be able to get parts/support/docs by emailing them. I find that Dan is very responsive and incredibly helpful, doing what he can to keep us flying.

    April 8th $100 Eclipse

I served the Army at Fort Drum, NY (10th Mountain Division) and I used to go to Watertown all the time. Good memories. Weather is funky for sure over there!! :D:D:D

    April 8th $100 Eclipse

I am flying in to Cape Girardeau (Missouri)... the eclipse will pass right on top of it. I've heard that Poplar Bluffs (which is right next door) is charging 150 ramp fee. Another good option will Sikeston, MO (also in great view of the eclipse. There is a very famous restaurant there called...

    Vacation and gear issues

Moazzam, I have a brand-new nose gear spring and it does make a difference for sure on the way it locks. I've done some e-dumps and I my locked right around 90 KIAS. How about the mains??? Is it necessary? I mean, it's always good to have new springs, but is the critical one the nose?

    Vacation and gear issues

I will mirror Ken here... I have had my gear transit light blink a couple of times during heavy turbulence. Just slow down and you you will be ok. Nothing unsafe about that as far as I can tell, but if it's starts turning on in smooth air, I would check for hydraulic leaks. My advice would be...
