This week was the annual strip and wax the hangar. I guess you can call it an adventure after it is done and a few beers. When I rented the hangar, the landlord had it done. That was for 5 years. Then I bought it 20 years ago. The old saying, "Sometimes it is better to rent than own."

History on Commander Ownership While looking for more information about the new Commander ownership, I ran across some interesting articles. I am sure this is nothing new to the Old Timers, but even I learned some things. There were many more articles but these are a summary of 1990 to now...

For those planning to go to Oshkosh in 2019, there are some changes in the planning for arrivals. The most interesting is EAA is planning more parking so nobody is turned away. This could bring in more early arrivals. It will be easier to plan if you know there will be parking when you get there.

The October edition of The Aviation Consumer Magazine is out with the review of the Commander 112/114. The only Owner Feedback is from Rick Crepas. Rick is our hero. There are a coupe errors but for the most part, it is very good. The Article is not on line yet.
