Guilty. Leaving Phil's airfield in Buttonville a few years ago I had failed to secure my upper lock. Not far to the home field but NO WAY was I going to be able to latch it in flight. Now I do Phil's triple checks !
Heard an ATC recording out of LaGuardia between Tower and a British Airways 'speedbird' as he wished the BA flight a 'happy treason day' ! Laughed out loud :p
Hi there, as soon as things open up I will pop up and have lunch. I take every Friday off now until September to fly somewhere interesting and would be happy to visit. I went through significant learning and networking to figure out how to structure the partnership financially and legally and...
Oh....dreaming about a fly-in !!! :p Can't wait to do it and we will do it......
And Phil, I think one in Burlington unless that gear-up a couple of months ago is repairable...
Hi Wayne, quite a few (by Commander standards) here in Ontario
C-FFOM is owned by Rod, Peter and I and is out of Kitchener ( 112 s/n 27 )
Phil Lightstone has a Commander in Buttonville (there are two there)
Peter Milojevic has one in Chatham
Grant Innes has one at Toronto Island
Dave Nusca has...

Hi John, have you looked up at the antenna mount to see if it is broken or if it is just a radial that pulled out ? Do you have any Ham Radio buddies ? That is a 1940's era VHF 1/4 wave antenna that a short proper length steel rod could replace for a few bucks. I see the cost of them new and...
Hi Carl, any chance you have a tracking number for the tail light cover ? Things are taking 40 or so days to make it between anywhere and the other place so I want to see if I can track.
Thanks, Tony
Hi Charlie, you will want the PARTS manual for the electrical diagrams. Go fetch it here from my OneDrive

Sorry about that. Yes, our s/n 27 is in that old 'we built them one piece at a time' where I imagine they were still figuring things out considering the array of interesting parts and pieces we have on our aircraft that are factory original AND the fact that there appears to be absolutely zero...
