    Chance Commander encounter

Guilty. Leaving Phil's airfield in Buttonville a few years ago I had failed to secure my upper lock. Not far to the home field but NO WAY was I going to be able to latch it in flight. Now I do Phil's triple checks !

Hi there, as soon as things open up I will pop up and have lunch. I take every Friday off now until September to fly somewhere interesting and would be happy to visit. I went through significant learning and networking to figure out how to structure the partnership financially and legally and...

    Funny question/comment from Denver Center

even worse.... Just a lowly ol' 112.....but a strange one with no birth records on s/n 27 ! Based on a few of the serial number plates on parts around the airplane I wonder if it was a flight tester or a 111 that they hung gear on....we still love Oscar Mike :-) !

    Funny question/comment from Denver Center

In our lowly 112A it is usually 'Fox Oscar Mike - Toronto Centre - hurry up and get going' but we do smile a lot on the journey :D

Hi John, have you looked up at the antenna mount to see if it is broken or if it is just a radial that pulled out ? Do you have any Ham Radio buddies ? That is a 1940's era VHF 1/4 wave antenna that a short proper length steel rod could replace for a few bucks. I see the cost of them new and...

    Control Yoke Collars

Sorry about that. Yes, our s/n 27 is in that old 'we built them one piece at a time' where I imagine they were still figuring things out considering the array of interesting parts and pieces we have on our aircraft that are factory original AND the fact that there appears to be absolutely zero...

    Control Yoke Collars

Jared, I would reach out to Jim or Martine at Aerodyme. The collars do not exist for our 112s but I believe they do for the 114.
