    Another learning experience

my old (85) Ferrari 308 used the alternator lamp to "excite" the alternator. It took a lot of troubleshooting to figure out the problem was that the little bulb had burned out and hence would not signal the alternator to "turn on".

    Ready to buy/fly

Hello Scott and welcome to the club. Sounds like a 112 would be a good fit for your mission and there are several owners in the southeast that will make themselves known to you. Giving us a reason to hop in the air and share the Commander mystique is never an issue. Reach out to Judi Andersen...

    A Valentine's Dinner to Remember

Here is another version of "Airplanes on Valentine's Day" I left these in the plane for Nancy to find..We then flew to Fiorentino's at KLNS for dinner. They give you a 10% off coupon if you fly in so that almost paid for the avgas :p

114B and 115 - crosswind control and side slip handling while landing; yawing in flight

HI Max and welcome to the group! I think perhaps the best thing you could do would be to simply get in a Commander and fly it.. These ships fly wonderfully and make great Instrument Platforms. Let the group know where you are located..I'm sure there's one not far from you. Good luck on your search.

    Commander @ KMQS

I ran across Jovin Olikara (N6024P) during a fuel stop at Chester County Turns out he was getting water out of the OUTBOARD sump drain on his right wing after refueling. I thought the inboard is where you would typically find any water in your system?? Any thoughts out there on this? Needless...

Welcome Kevin You certainly have worked on some ratings in a short span of hours! Great way to do it. My experience 2 years ago was from a perspective of being 350 hour TT SEL , NON Instrument rated but High Performance, Complex and Retractable hours. In particular my company wanted to see 75...

Hey Gary..No Sadly it has not. There has been some interest lately though. I'll certainly post if / when it reopens as it was always a great destination. When I had my 235 @ O03 we used to fly over for Wednesday Wing Nite and that was more Taxiing time than Airtime :p
