Well, since Miesch and Breimeister let the last thread swirl into the toilet, and caused it to get locked... I was thinking something like Bryce Canyon (BCE), or there-abouts, for a West coast annual fly-in. The elevation is pretty high, though, so it may not work, although it is pretty long...

Re: 2010 cog fly-in location Where was the very first CAC fly-in hosted, like back in 1996 or 1997? It was at a resort, with runway, in GA? I remember the event was expensive, although I did not attend it, but thought the higher expense was related more to CAC sponsorship than anything else.

Re: Adventure starts tomorrow What are the ambient temps? Were the cowl flaps open? Is there an unsealed gap between the oil cooler and the oil cooler air intake tunnel in the cowl? This should be sealed with baffle materiel, or some people use a section of old inner-tube.
