Re: Hey, who chopped off the back of my airplane!?
I stole a page from someone else's playbook, I used chrome tape instead due to the angles.

Re: Atlanta Layover? Help!
Have you thought about flying out of Augusta? Round trips from there I see start at $393 round trip. Then when you return... Your there. :)
Re: Advice? A looker not an owner
Using risingup.com I did a comparison between the two. You would defiantly see a marked improvment is speed, rate of climb and ceiling. Useful load at 50gal of fuel are about the same. Note: there are 112A’s with 68gal usable capacities increasing your range...
Re: Swift Unleaded Fuels
The 102UL is what is suppose to replace the 100LL according to the site, but I might sacrifice a few horsepower for cleaner fuel thus making my oil cleaner too.
I was nosing around the web and found at: https://swiftfuels.com
The Commander 114's can be STC'ed for 94UL unleaded fuel. The 112's are not. My assumption is the higher compression.
The Swift is anticipating approval from FAA end of the year for the 102UL which will pretty much handle...

I think he...
Re: 112/B take off characteristics

Each...
Re: 112/B take off characteristics
It's not that the POH is wrong, but you have options that are included in the POH. Given runway length, Density Altitude, Weight and Balance you set your flaps accordingly.
Re: 42W in Oklahoma!
Dean,
Pretty cool.
About the battery, I learned a long time ago that if your battery is dead try and charge it before flying. A dead battery puts a lot of stress on the alternator and could damage it over time. As a kid with beat up cars to drive it would always happen...
Re: Coastal NC Recommendations
I worked as a contractor for Cherry Point near New Bern for about 6 years. If your a history Buff New Bern has some. The birth place of Pepsi Cola, also Hatteras Boats are there. There is a downtown area with nice shops and restaurants there.
Also there is...
Well John and I got together and went to Sun-In-Fun last Friday. We met in Enterprise and and off we flew. What an experience flying in. I’ve been several times before but always drove in. John was a big help on what to expect. We had a lot of fun meeting new people. Met one of the...
Re: Sun n Fun 2018 April 10-15
John,
Do you have a link to the video on the Sun-In_Fun Site for aircraft arrival? I went through there site and can't find it. I know it's there "saw it before" but not in the logical places I would look. :)
