Just a joke - although they are the same pumps they are not approved for aviation applications. Although if somebody wanted brushes, the motor cap or a new motor???

I have been through three or four pumps over the years so if it is original you are one lucky guy or the airframe has limited hours.

Not sure if I am the only one but when I post anything it takes a considerable amount of time from when I hit the post button until things proceed. Just sits there and say's "working". No issue with any other sites. Server just seems slow.

You're absolutely right as much of a hassle as it's become to fly commercial it may still not be cost effective to use our planes the majority of the time but the hassle factor is so much lower. Obviously not everything can be cost justified-we've owned a second home for close to 25 years that...

Rarely can one justify owning a plane and using it for travel just based on the cost comparison between it and commercial. If I'm just going to New York and back I fly commercial but if I want to stop half a dozen places along the way and make it an experience I fly my plane.

You really have two choices in the Bahamas - One is to go to the Big island's like Nassau and Paradise Island and the other is to go to the real Bahamas. If you're interest is to party at night then the out islands will be the wrong place for you. There is very little tourism ,not a lot of bars...
