Re: Hot Shot oil use? That's what I was from about 700 hrs since new until 1900+ hours. And then the only reason I decided on the rebuild was because the engine was darn near leaking more oil than it was burning:)

Re: Hot Shot oil use? Joel, That sounds encouraging. I was used to burning a qt. every 10 hours until the OH. We probably need to hook up after the 1st of the year for that cylinder. As I mentioned before, I've got four of them and one has your name on it, so be assured that it's not...

Re: Hot Shot oil use? FYI, I'm not a Hot-Shot, rather a TCA with 200+ hours on a rebuild with factory new cylinders. I was a little concerned that I'm not burning enough oil. I'm burning a quart every 25 hours or more. Compressions, oil temp, frequent oil analysis and cylinder head...
