with regards to comp readings: you need to see the "trending". look for comp readings along w/the assoc. tach times for the last 5-6 yrs/annuals.
if readings keep coming down then that's your indicator there's something happening. if they're all holding steady then just...

if I'm reading that right and it's just 600 hrs. on the eng., why couldn't you just do an IRAN (teardown/internal repair as necessary) for approx. 1/2 the cost of a fresh overhaul?

They come up now and then. Hv (2) early B"s soon, neither with air. also have (2) 115TCs both 'with' air. Since they're 2000 and newer price point is more.

air was an "option", so NO, Oliver. of all the 114Bs (100-120) total that can accommodate the a/c sys., I guesstimate only about 30-40 max. w/air.
a lot of "new" buyers for one didn't all live in CA, TX or FL.

Insurance carriers are concerned you'll forget to put the wheels up and down... pretty std. to pay more that 1st yr. til you get the rating and build time in M&M.

yes you are a '77 by Mfgr. S/N. a/w date 12-13-76, but all/any produced that late in the calendar yr. were delivered as the following yr. last '76 was 14134.
you can reconfirm by Price Digest and VRef same dates/SNs. so now that you're a '77 and not a '76...

I'll do a recount by SN/year, but I believe my first stat count taken in May 1993 was 1309 built between '72 and '93. approx 125 '94 thru 2002s. guesstimate, probably 70% still worldwide, flying or sitting.
