Providence is the closest to your wedding place, good class C airport. Buy gas at Westerly though. There is an airshow at Quonset that weekend, I might fly into it Saturday or Sunday, weather permitting. Give us a sign, maybe we can meet, like Frank suggested, Block Island is a good spot to land...

I don't think we should let Lonnie try to land on the grass under no circumstances, god knows what can happen. Last time he tried landing on the turf and i was there to witness it, he got smoked pretty good, literally.

Had reached mid 180's over the ground in my plain vanilla 112 yesterday, eastbound from KBAF to KTAN at 9500, smooth like silk, I must have caught the jet stream. 16 kts gusting to 25 down low and choppy made for an interesting approach and landing, love it when you get whacked into a 60 degrees...
