Re: 112 Hot Shot My proceedure is very similar to what Terry described. Full power, and turn the knob for the turbo until I see at least 28". I occsionally fly in and out of Ruidoso N.M. as well as Durango Co. Both will have a DA of 10,000' easily in the summer. I still plan my departures...

Re: What are you listening to? I'm equipped with a TCAS (or is it a TCAD? I forget which). It's one of those things that once you have it, you can't imagine living without it. Especially when I'm away from my Class B airspace. However even in class B I've had it alert me to uncomfortably...

Re: South Central Fly-in Unfortunately it's looking more likely that I will will miss it as well. The forecast for heavy rain and possible thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday doesn't look good.

Re: South Central Fly-in I had previously made my reservation at the original rate before they had established a "Commander" rate. I called back and requested that they adjust it accordingly and they did with no problem.
