    Re: Flush mounted tail beacon Mine has is. You need to have the strobes on anytime the beacon/engine is running, that way, you can see the airplane from behind. Otherwise, of course, you can't see the airplane because the beacon gets hidden from directly behind. There is SUPPOSE to be a placard...

    Re: Air Chart systems I'll give it a try. I used to use AOPA flight planning services, I really liked it, but they just changed it, and I find it very cumbersome to use now. Why do people feel the need to change when the product it works for well?

    Re: Air Chart systems Thanks Scott, will look that up. Fore Flight said the Ipad's GPS wasn't all that great, and recommended a blue tooth gps for better and more accurate reception.How's the Galaxy's gps? do you need and external GPS as well?
