  • No information, yet. I will pester him tomorrow.

I'm not sanguine about the possibility. He sent me a picture and it had a rough, off-field landing.

I think it would be hard to break this particular part, there’s not much to it. Thanks for your help, please keep me informed as I'm looking at all options to get this bird flying again.
Interested in the details of the fuel injectors, including price.

Standard stock injectors for the IO-540, best I can tell from the logs, from the last overhaul 1,280 hours ago. make me an offer
Electro Air should be a standard install for a seasoned A&P. I think that if you're going to keep your aircraft that the Electro Air is a good choice. Keep in mind yo9u're going to be in the 8 - 10K range when finished as, you will need the standby battery system and someone to install and sign it off. The electronic ignition is a modernization for any aircraft engine. I had electronic ignition installed on my aircrafts for 20 years. I would not fly without it anymore. If your budget permits the upgrade, I'd say, install it.

I was originally hoping to put it off until next year since I already blew the budget this year on a new interior and Carl's hot shot mod, but it's only money, right? Whoever said that flying is cheap! Thanks Phil.
