No, no hurry. I actually won’t be home until the middle of April.
Did you find a vacuumed pump? I have one with approximately 300 hours. I know It’s low 300 but can look for an actual number. I would like 100 shipped.

Dual Aspen 1000’s (MFD&PFD) a lot of stuff came with these when I purchased them from Fun-n-Sun this year. Antenna, wire harness pig tails, cables, analog converter, gateway, flush mount hardware, and a current 8130. Everything in the picture #3 is included $6,500
Gramin GTN650 came with connecting hardware and a current 8130 $9,000
    Garmin GTX 330 Mode S with a Sandis SAE5 encoder, wiring harness and a 8130 $950
I do not have a picture of the transponder yet. I will not be home until Sunday so I can get that for you then.

I’m assuming that you purchased a used 650 from a vendor such as Wentworth?
I understand the price issue. The material is only about 50 bucks per rail. It's the other things that add up. Tooling was over 700.00 I now have 90 hours of reverse engineering and CAD time involved. The machine time is a little over 1.8 hours per rail. It's the other costs that start to add up on low volume. Shopping for material, saw cutting time, Making fixtures, machine setup, hand deburring every part, anodizing, driving all around to get things done. None of that includes the scrap parts that will be made just to get things dialed in. Dan at Commander told me that the replacement cost for a seat rail if they had them was over 1000 dollars each. I understand why. My goal is to get the cost much lower but I can't do it with a dozen buyers. However, if you think about it, a fuel selector valve is 1500 to 2000 grand if you can find one. Everything on this aircraft is overpriced due to lack of availability. After I machine a few rails I will see what can be done to get the price lower. I just refuse to work for free anymore. I put a lot of time, expertise and effort into everything I do. Being the engineer, designer, quality control guy, purchaser, shipper, machine programmer and manufacturing labor is overwhelming sometimes. I know you understand. I do appreciate your comments though. Fly safe.

Phil, nobody should work for free! Prices seldom decrease do they! They say Beechcraft are expensive. I’ll have to stick with our orphaned Commander.
Rolf - I was thinking about John yesterday. Any updates? He's never been off the board this long.k

Yes, it would be easier for you to call me, as my thumbs are numb from typing/texting on my IPhone.! John has a lot of friends who are all concerned for his welfare and I have been getting requests every day or two.
My cell phone number is 763-350-5559 thanks!

Kelly, my news is a week old. John was hit pretty hard with COVID-19. He was placed into a coma for a week or so. As of Monday November 30th he was out of the coma and breathing without a ventilator. He had been transferred to Birmingham to a larger hospital. Connie was trying to get up there as she hadn’t seen him since he had left in the ambulance. John’s cell phone is with him but Connie thought it probably had a dead battery.
I tried their home phone Saturday but there was no answer so she was probably up in Birmingham. I hope this puts you at ease knowing that he was doing better.
Connie said he had quite a ways to go but she was hopeful. Stay well.
Hey, I was worried about John. Do you know anything? Sorry I did not want to call the family at this time,
    Thanks,
    Mike
I have the wingtip strobe power supplies, if you haven't

Thanks, I haven’t had a chance to pull the wingtip off and clean/check the connections. It’s on my priority list, near the top...

Do you have the one mounted by the battery box? Mine has a Cessna label on it and it appears that the tail strobe doesn’t flash so I might want to replace that one too.
Shoot me a price on one or both of the wingtip power supplies and whether they are new or used.
The Cessna unit is totally different from the others in size and shape. Thanks
I guess, not sure of what you mean, but I’ve not sold anything

On the original aircraft, the wingtip strobe lights utilized a small box out near the wingtips ( one on each side). I believe it’s a capacitor/transformer two to four times larger than a pack of cigarettes. Once you remove the wingtip, you unplug the wiring from the box to the lights ( easier to do with two people). The box itself is mounted on the first Wing rib. I have not removed one but I have to think it comes out easily. If your strobe flashes on that particular wingtip, then you know the box is still functional . Remember that on these airplanes the beacon must be on to get the strobes to flash. Thanks, let me know what you find.
Sorry, I just saw this message today, if you ever want to messege me Steve @ classic10137@gmail.com
