  • I have been pleased with the vibration and noise levels. Don’t have a direct speed comparison but Carl Lee may be able to weigh in with some tech data. When compared to the stock prop, the MT also helps with W&B on the 114. (Decreases any need for baggage compartment ballast.). All being considered, I wouldn’t hesitate to replace it with another MT prop.

Hey Helmers - it’s been a while but thought I might take you up on that offer to jump on a call about your experience with the 115TC. I’m looking at two right now and would welcome the chance to hear what your first few years have been like. Got time tomorrow?

    Hi All,
Recently during the annual my mechanic recommended replacing the air-conditioner belt which had been on my 114tc for twenty plus years. The belt part number they ordered in was Lycomming 37D21992. The old belt removed had a “Deep V” design over the new belt to fit nicely into the Deep V Pulleys. The original belt was stamp (F4390 37D21992) and new belt is stamp 37D21992 missing the F4390. After ordering in and trying the 37D21992 belt two different times they realize this madness from the belts rolling off wasn’t going away. Both belts have the same part number but you’ll notice in the picture the original belt on the left has a Deep V to fit into the deep V pulleys, where as the new belt is standard flat on the bottom like an automotive design and will definitely roll off as soon as the AC is kicked on. I’ve already reached out to Jim Richards and Dan from the Commander Center in OKC. Can anyone tell me If there are other belt options or possibly finding the same belt as the Lycomming F4390 37D21992 Deep V design. I know you don’t want to here this but maybe automotive, lawn mower, etc belt. For the time being I’ll have to reinstall the original belt back on but someday it will need to be replaced. Any help would sure be appreciated…
As always, many thanks to the Commander Group…

    Hi All,
Hoping someone could help me locate some part numbers for an autopilot, Bendix King KFC 225 pilot side yoke. I believe it’s called “assembly cap” and “base/ bezel plate” which the Trim, CWS, AP shut off attaches to. I’m having avionic guy replace the broken CWS button and would like to replace other two pieces that are cracked at the same time. I reached out to Bendix King but without part numbers they couldn’t help me for 2001 Commander 114TC
    Thanks
