Good afternoon, my name is Scott, and I joined this group a few weeks ago. I was wondering if there were any other Commanders located at KPIE? I was taking my new plane up a couple of days ago for some pattern work and heard you coming in. I was actually quite excited to hear another plane landing in PIE, so I looked for you here and found you. I fly for Elite Air (Lear31,Lear40,Legacy650). This is my first plane and I have, what I think, are good ideas for a new panel upgrade. I would enjoy speaking with a Commander owner who knows his way around this aircraft. Congrats on your new ratings! I love the idea of a second career.
The idea of reservations at the steakhouse in Fredericksburg sounds wonderful but I won’t know if we will attend, I should know sometime in August, if that helps. Ann is taking some medical treatments and our attendance depends on her schedule.
Also, on another note, could you please move to Florida sooner so we can have more Commander friends to visit with? I plan to retire in December this year, and we are looking at our travel options. Some of which include an Epic pass to many ski areas in the U.S. and Canada, staying with my brother in Phoenix, and many friends in the southeastern U.S. to visit. We have close friends who winter in Clermont Florida who stay on a man made waterski lake, great fun! Hope to see you in Texas,Rolf.
