  • My 112tc has been at Reno's Classic aviation for 4 month. They are trying to figure out if there is a "speed switch" for the landing gear. The ferry pilot said that he could not retract the gear. Does any one know what might be the issue. It was previous on jack's at Fallon for the annual and had no issues with the landing gear working. Thanks Tom Luczak cell 818 414 6680

Hi janderson reply to When was it last flown?
My Commander 112tc just completed a mechanics annual. I'm having it ferry flown to Reno for the avionics annual. It's currently in Fallon NV. I'm looking for some training in type. It's new home will be in So Ca at KCMA. Contact me at: pagingplus@aol.com or 818 414 6680. I'm looking for ferry pilot and training.
I just purchased a 1976 Commander 112TC. It's in need of a ADS-B out. Any suggestions? The transponder is a "Narco AT165". So it will work with either a tailbeacon or tailbeaconX.
Does any one recommend one over the other? I've seen a lot of used tailbeacons for sale on ebay. And I hear of some that just stop working. So I'm not so sure about there durability.
I'm open to other set ups as well.
I use Foreflight so I also would like ADS-B in for that use? Perhaps a Stratus 3?
Any suggestions of where it is best to purchase the equipment?
I understand a dealer in Oregon (via Barnstormer) has the tailbeacons available with out sale tax.
