  • Doug,

Thanks for the lead on the 5606, I have some ordered and will be a great help. Some of these parts are so ridiculous, I have owned many trucks with duel fuel tanks and a $30 fuel selector from NAPA have worked flawlessly for years. I am finding out many more applications for the Prestolite pump such as forklifts or pallet stackers, All the things we need are out there in the big world, We just need to find them. I have just learned to search pictures on Google,

    Thanks again.

So you got the hot-rod plane and the girl. Not too shabby!
The only one I have is from Craig. I’m not sure but I bet that the screw holes are not exact between airplanes and would be best located using a strap duplicator to line up with your current panel. I’m building the wiring harness for my aspens at present and at least found a place to cut the panel.

Thanks for the info Dean. I do have that drawing that you posted, and you're right, I can use a strap duplicator to line up the holes. That would be better. I am putting in the G5 stack AI/HSI, Avidyne 440 (replacing the Garmin 430), panel mount Garmin 796, EDM 900, ACK Encoder, GDL 50R and new transponder.

Really having a difficult time knowing the dimensions for things and trying to figure out what can be removed with the new equipment. I can open this in Adobe Illustrator, but trying to determine the sizes of things exactly, is certainly a challenge!!

Your panel and plane is awesome!! Thanks for the input.
