When you cap the cylinders off is the gear down?
I was referring to if seals are good in cylinders and are capped they shouldn’t be able to creep down.
My dump valve just lets pressurized oil return to tank
I’m pretty new to retract gear airplanes, but I’ve spent my whole life as a trouble shooter and mechanic for Hyd systems.
I always isolate one piece at a time.
If you have a actuator or basically a Hyd cylinder capped on both ends and can still move it then it’s internal wear...
These are pics from original installer. I currently have it removed, as that is a very simple task. Haven’t had the chance to use it yet. It’s currently 7 Fahrenheit
