Actually there are only 2 there now since Dennis arrived recently. The one by the shop is from Sussex and there for maintenance. Good to see you although brief. Hopefully we get together again at Sky Acres in the spring.

I was a volunteer at the Sussex Air Shows from 1984 till around 2004 and if memory serves me correct, Hoover was flying an Aerostar. This was also the home of Leo Loudenslager - World Champion Aerobatics I believer 1980. My beacons are always on for the very same reason.
Hi Charlie: Wish I knew you were coming to Sussex we could have joined up. At least you were entertained by the non stop jumping. What did you think of the approach by that Super Carivan ! Up to 14.5k and down in 8 minutes. Decends at 6,000 f.p.m. It's an interesting ride I can tell you...
Re: New York SFRA
You're right about that Allen. A night flight down the river is spectacular. The only thing that comes close was the view from Windows on the World at the top of the Trade Center. Brings back lots of memories.
Re: Hey, who chopped off the back of my airplane!?
Hey Glenn:
Took some quick measurements today. My position light is on top. It's about 1 1/2" in dia. The strobe lens is about 1 1/4" in dia. There is about 1 1/2" between the two lenses. Will need to get specs from uAvionix but looks...
Re: Hey, who chopped off the back of my airplane!?
The tail marker is what about 1" in dia. Looks like the plastic antenna of the uAvionix unit extends about 1/2 " up / down. I'll check tomorrow but I think there is plenty of room between the marker and strobe lens.
Hi Moazzam - Would you believe I just spotted this message !!!! Sorry. If you're still interested my IA is Ray Fagnano - North East Wings at Sussex (FWN) He's done about 1/2 dozen now and no recurrences. This is also Lycoming's recommendation.
Re: FAA Medical Reform - and they said it would never happen
Looks like they added something to the General Physician requirement including a signed off check list. Wonder how GP's are going to react this this ?
Hey Bob:
See it was one of your colleagues that landed on Rt. 23 last week. A little skeptical about the press releases. Can't help wonder what the real story is !
