    I was a volunteer at the Sussex Air Shows from 1984 till around 2004 and if memory serves me correct, Hoover was flying an Aerostar. This was also the home of Leo Loudenslager - World Champion Aerobatics I believer 1980. My beacons are always on for the very same reason.

    Re: New York SFRA You're right about that Allen. A night flight down the river is spectacular. The only thing that comes close was the view from Windows on the World at the top of the Trade Center. Brings back lots of memories.

    Re: Hey, who chopped off the back of my airplane!? The tail marker is what about 1" in dia. Looks like the plastic antenna of the uAvionix unit extends about 1/2 " up / down. I'll check tomorrow but I think there is plenty of room between the marker and strobe lens.
