I started out in aviation when I was 13 with a flight in a Mooney Cadet, 2 seat airplane. Then it was weekend at the airport wash rack helping pilot wash their airplane in hope of getting a ride during the dry off flight. Then into the US Army to work on Chinook and Kiowa helicopters. After which I attained my A&P and PPL. During my career I helped build the B-1B, C-17, and many DC-9’s, -10’s, and the MD-80’s, -90’s & -11’s fleet. Then I became a CFI/CFII & MEI in airplanes. I continued into the 135 world where I flew cargo and medial flights. Now I am almost retired but I am working for the El Paso Sheriffs Office and flying small airplanes for the job of it.
