Hi George I left you a phone mail at work, here's what I'd like to get:
C177B Attitude Indicator went belly up (of course while flying).
I was VFR with my mum in the plane at 7500 over Appalachians.
The AI began doing left rolls at say 100RPM or so!
Vacuum was low but DG that is also vacuum kept working.
Subsequently found a leak in the AI case.
(AI is an Aircraft Instruments Manufacturing Corp)
So I need to replace my friend's 3 1/8 AI, any brand name will do,
vacuum driven, no autopilot coupling needed, and it doesn't have to be lighted.
