    Hi Kate, I also have a 112A Hot Shot... When I purchased the plane the current AP had the RPMs set low at 2560RPM max... Therefore, the plane was slow to lift off and climb was poor 300-500fpm. After speaking with Carl I had rpm adjusted to 2700RPM... It changed everything!!! My setup: Similar...

    Hi Ken, I need to make a small fiberglass repair under my top cowling. What materials would you recommend? Was thinking standard E-glass tape 2inch and West System 105 epoxy resin and 205 hardener... from Aircraft Spruce. Thanks for your advise. Darren G
