    Winds aloft

I finally got a 200+ kts groundspeed a few weeks ago... Unfortunately, I was 2 miles from the Gulf Coast, and the winds were from the N, so I could not enjoy it for long. Trip northbound was Slowwwwwww.

    New Editor Aviation Consumer

I was an IFR subscriber and had just renewed when all this happened. The Flying Magazines are sitting in the clear wrapper they came in. A funny thing is that I went from a subscription to Aviation Consumer News to IFR Magazine beforehand. With all the "we must use AI" to stay competitive...

    Cowling Alternative Availability

I was in Henderson today, having my nose wheel pin replaced and installing the heavy-duty actuator kit from Aerodyme, and got to watch Carl fit a new set of nose gear doors to a Commander that had a nose wheel collapse. The new doors look great!

Added myself to the flap indicator project

Hey all! At the fly in, Jim Richards proposed a replacement for the flap indicator sender and indicator. I went ahead and added myself to the list of folks who would buy it if he hits the required number of kits.

Thanks for all the information...I can't find anything in my records on this side at all that a payment was made, so no matter what happened, it didn't go through. I went ahead and renewed again. What's great is that we get this much help and support so quickly. Thanks, folks.

    Home safe

Glad to hear that you got it fixed, even if you did have to drive to Atlanta :( I felt bad taxing out with y'all stuck on the ramp. Lana and I really enjoyed seeing y'all.

    Home safe

Lana and I had a great time. It was great meeting new folks and seeing old acquaintances. We totaled 15.5 hours total with 3.5 actual IFR for the trip.

    Not exactly a sighting

We had fun yesterday listening to Atlanta trying to manage us, 114SG and Commander 114GG at the same time as we crossed sectors:)

    2025 Annual Fly-in

Do we know if there is going to be a white elephant gift event at the dinner this year?

    Grounded!

Ouch! Be careful with scaphoid fractures. if they lose blood flow, it can be very serious... unfortunately, they are also slow to heal due to poor blood supply to the proximal region. If you broke the distal portion, it heals much more quickly. Get well soon!
