Still looking for someone a little closer to Albuquerque that can do 10-25 hours training for a 112TC/114 if anyone knows of anyone closer to this area. Ideally I locate the CFI first before buying one I can’t get insured on lol

this was a super helpful post for me because I live in ABQ and was wondering/worried about the straight 112 not being really capable of this altitude — hell Santa Fe is even higher the airport sits at like 6030ft

Looks like insurance wants me to have 25 hours with a CFI in it -- on another note, how does the 112 perform at elevation? base elevation here ranges between 5200-6000ft

I haven’t — wanted to see if there were any other owners who were CFIs nearby
