    Andy---I also had work done at Sterling and ran into a major issue with cap to casing bolt loses.
    Took 4 months to get them to fix the problem. John Potter 77 114 N4887W

    Thanks. Overall, it was a challenging experience with them. I also, had 3 incidences of hanger rash :( Where do you get your work done and annuals these days?

    Do my annual with a local trunk mechanic IA/A&P. I am selling the airplane, so getting it ready for market. Could not sell the airplane until I was satisfied with the fix for having lost 2 of the bolts holding on the cap to the casing of the magneto. When it was eventually sent back to the shop, they did what should have been done all along. I literally had to threaten the service manager with legal/going public action to get it done. The mechanic at Sterling had not properly torqued the bolts when they put in the rebuilt magneto originally.I talked to the shop after the repair and was completely satisfied with the fix.
