I did not realize you sent me this message. I am currently using James "Rocke" Tyler at Wiley Post Aviation. I have had some issues but not sure if it would be different anywhere else. I am pretty particular and I am not sure he his. Tough choices but he
is getting more and more familiar with our planes. I have worked Rocke pretty hard with the challenges of many improvements and upgrades.

Don't know if you remember me, but I met you last year when I was checking out the 112 Hot Shot for sale up at your home airport. I saw the pictures of your new panel & it looks really good. I also noticed a photo of you on one of the Alaska trips. Wow, you really get around!

Hope you are doing well. Unfortunately, I never found a 112 that I was willing to buy, so I went over to the dark side and bought a Cessna Cardinal RG instead. It uses the same engine as the 112 but has a better payload. The 114 is a great plane, but I really wanted a Hot Shot.

Anyway, just wanted to say "hi". I still belong to the website and enjoy hearing about the Commanders.

I'm a new pilot in Conroe, toying with the idea of buying a plane. Commanders are on my short list and I was wondering if you use a nearby mechanic who is familiar with the type?
