2009 Annual Fly-in Registration - Boyne Falls, Michigan

Rooms in the Main Lodge Still available as of early September - book now!

The 2009 Commander Owners Group Annual Fly-in takes place October 2-4 at the spectacular Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, Michigan (see http://www.boyne.com/BoyneMountain/index.html). After last year’s fly-in in Fredericksburg, TX, most said they loved the convenience having the fly-in at an airport resort. Boyne Mountain Resort is adjacent to Boyne Falls Airport (KBFA) – an ideal venue for our group to stay together for all the Fly-in activities. COG has reserved 50 rooms in two resort hotels for our group.

Your 2-day, full conference registration includes:

  • Friday afternoon educational workshops with select vendors presenting innovative new products for the Commander line

  • Friday evening mountaintop reception with hors d'oeuvres and a pasta bar (plenty of food for dinner!)

  • Saturday workshops including a new safety seminar, a medical Q&A with a highly experienced pilot/AME (also a military doctor) and a session with a State of Michigan Airports Director and Cartographer

  • Saturday BBQ lunch on the ramp

  • Saturday evening COG Annual Awards Banquet with special speaker Dr. Gregory Pinnell, AME 'Confessions of a Space Shuttle Doc'

  • Special COG mementos

     The two-day, Full-Conference Registration Fee:
COG members …………….......... $115
COG member guests ………..... $75
Non-members ………………........ $200
Non-members joining COG …. $190 (includes first year COG membership)

For those who come earlier in the week, there is no additional fee and we are planning multiple golf outings and fly-outs to various Islands including Washington, Beaver, Mackinac and Drummond. Anyone who loves shopping and strolling through beautiful lakeside tourist towns will find the villages of Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs only a short drive away and full of late season bargains. The Boyne resort itself has a wide variety of amenities such as 27 holes of golf, hiking and a full service spa.

To register, please complete and submit the COG Registration Form below and pay the registration fee to COG. Once registration and payment are submitted, contact the hotel and book at the discounted COG room rates. Our Treasurer, Bob Tippens, will confirm your payment via email.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Michigan. The fall color and the Commander camaraderie will be great!
